Silently Install CutePDF Writer and Ghostscript I was quite recently looking to find a way to install CutePDF Writer silently (like most corporate setups) as to keep user interaction to a minimum. Getting CutePDF Writer fully installed consists of intsalling both the writer itself, as well as the GPL Ghostscript. I've used CutePDF for a few years on several systems and it's worked well. I've run various antivirus and malware programs on it and it's always come up clean. It's only in the last version (3.0) did they add in the garbage that tries to sneak into the install; you need to uncheck or not agree to about every option now. Download and run the install exe before you click on next button, There should be a directory in the%temp% directory with the following files 'CuteFTP 6 Professional.msi' and 'isscript.msi'. To perform the install run the following command (batch file) with the two msi files in the same directory. Install or update CutePDF silently and unattended in. Just run the Ninite.exe. just get the two files: converter.exe & cutewriter.exe
Cutepdf Writer Silent Install
To silently install CutePDF, we’ll need two components downloaded as well as 7-zip installed. You must download Ghostscript (available from CutePDF’s website).
Rename converter.exe to converter.zip and extract the files (setup.exe & GPLGS folder)
Place cutewriter.exe, setup.exe & GPLGS items all in one folder including the batch file shown below.

Save the batch file and run from your deployment tool.
NOTE: /no3d = this skips the 3rd party software install

Save as a.vbs and run in the deployment tool with this command: cscript.exe //B <name of above file>.vbs
NOTE: Even though the uninstaller has the -s switch it still prompts you if you really want to uninstall the app. That is why I wrote the sendkey part to click 'Yes' and to click 'OK' using the ENTER key.
The taskkill part was also added as in Windows7 the uninstaller was still running in the taskmanager as a process.

The delete folder/file section had to be added as the uninstaller left these folders too! Not a well written uninstaller, I'm afraid! ;)
